The Maldives Media Council (MMC) has elected new members for the present term. The process of voting was held at Ministry of Home Affairs. All media outlets in the Maldives are adequate for participation in this election, out of all, 95 outlets has participated on Sunday.
A group of 7 are representing media outlets, and they’re as follows:
Ahmed Azif, Sun Media Group
Shifza Mustafa, VMedia
Azmee Ali, Dhuvas Online
Hidayatullah, Haftha Online
Ali Ahsan, DhiIslam
Ali Rishfan, Fenvaru Online
Other 7 individuals as representatives of the general public are now elected to MCC. They are:

Hisaan Hassan
Ahmed Ameen Mohamed
Fathumath Sauzan Hussain
Athif Abdul Hakeem
Riffath Rasheed
Shireen Nahidha Latheef.
