Brigadier-General Ali Zuhair Retires

Coastguard Commander, Brigadier-General Ali Zuhair retires from the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF).

Zuhair has worked at MNDF for over 30 years and was granted voluntary honourable discharge on 25th July, Thursday. According to military retirement regulations, an officer may be honourably discharged after 20 years of service.

However, MNDF is yet to officially announce Ali Zuhair’s retirement.

In addition to serving as the Coastguard Commander, Zuhair was also the Chairman of the Sifainge Welfare Company (SIWEC).
