Minaret of Friday mosque is damaged.
National center for cultural heritage, this Sunday stated that the minaret of the Friday mosque is damaged and is now under reconstruction.
This was after concerning an individual who posted a picture of the damaged minaret on social media.
The center for cultural heritage also stated that they are aware of the incident and they have an on-going investigation regarding it.
Moreover, it is arranged to start the reconstruction as soon as the weather clams down.
The Center for heritage and culture also responded to the arising criticism against the heritage association for their less work regarding heritage-related issues. They said that they have fixed damages on different areas of the Friday mosque during last year.
