Ooredoo Colour Run featuring exciting festivities scheduled for November 30

On Wednesday 16th October, Ooredoo Maldives revealed the thrilling festivities to be held in the reclaimed suburb of Hulhumale’s annual Colour Run weekend, rescheduled for 30 November.

The telecom giant shared new updates for the run, outlining the weekend’s programs and timings:

Ooredoo Moodhu Majaa

‘Moodhu Majaa’ is a new entry to the Ooredoo Colour Run weekend, which entails a fun morning at the beach, with beach activities and exciting water sports. Ooredoo is partnering with cafes which will provide breakfast and local favorites such as ‘ambu majaa’ and ‘maskaashi’ typically enjoyed by locals at the beach.

Ooredoo Colour Run

Ooredoo’s popular 5K aims to promote running as a fun way to achieve a healthy and active lifestyle, where runners are rewarded with a burst of color powder at each kilometer mark. Similar to the previous 5Ks, the Ooredoo Colour Run is not timed, and thus “participants can choose to walk, jog, run or dance to the finish line”, where they receive color throws and finisher medals while local musicians hype up the crowds.

Ooredoo further highlighted that while only pre-registered participants will receive medals, interested runners can also join the run in white t-shirts to take part in the fun experience.
