Bank of Maldives (BML) on Thursday signed on a partnership agreement with Ministry of Higher Education.
Both parties entered the agreement to provide higher education and training opportunities under the Corporate Scholarship Scheme.
In a special ceremony held on Thursday afternoon, the bank’s CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer and Minister of Higher Education Dr Ibrahim Hassan signed the agreement.
According to BML, the Corporate Scholarship Scheme enhances opportunities for bank employees seeking higher education both locally and internationally.
“Through various initiatives and partnerships with colleges and universities, we have continued to enhance learning environments and create more opportunities for our staff,” Tim Sawyer said.
“It is our pleasure to partner with the Ministry of Higher Education for their Corporate Scholarship Scheme.”
