Housing Development Corporation (HDC) have announced a deadline extension for those who have not already submitted applications for rent relief amid the Covid-19 outbreak.
The government owned corporation responsible for undertaking the development and management of Hulhumalé announced a 30 percent relief decrease of the rent and to defer rent payments for two months.
In a bulletin released last night HDC stated that the deadline for the payment deferral is now the 15th of this month.
The company also highlighted that due to the imposed lock down in the Greater Male Area, arrangements have been made so that all pending payments can be paid via online.
