Bangladesh Repatriation Flight Cancelled

The flight slated to evacuate a number of Bangladeshi nationals as part of the repatriation efforts have been cancelled.

The flight revealed by National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) to carry more than 200 Bangladeshi nationals is cancelled without a specific date due to Cyclone Amphan which is gradually increasing in severity.

The cyclone has now been categorized as a category 5 hurricane by authorities and has been foretasted to hit areas of Bangladesh and coastal areas of India.
