Maldives Marketing and Public Relationship Corporation (MMPRC), has signed an agreement with Singapore Airlines to promote Maldives as a tourist destination.
According to the agreement, the Maldives will be advertised in six world-renowned international destinations such as China, America, Japan, Australia, South Korea and Singapore with the help of the airline.
The Managing Director of MMPRC, Mr. Thoyyib Mohamed highlighted plans to host road shows and to bring international media coverage to the Maldives as per the agreement. The cost of the promotions will be shared by both companies.
Singapore Airlines travels to 140 destinations in 35 countries including the Maldives since 1984. Their sub-company, Silk Airs has also been travelling to the Maldives since 2015.
