In the ambassador credentialing ceremony held yesterday at the president’s office, ambassadors from New Zealand, Australia, Malta and Bahrain presented their credentials to the president of The Maldives Ibrahim Solih.
Ambassador-designate of New Zealand, Joanne Tyndall, John Holly, the ambassador-designate of Australia, Stephen Borg, the ambassador-designate of Malta and The ambassador-designate of Bahrain Ahmed Al-Gaoud, individually shared a few words with the president.
Speaking about the bilateral relations their countries have with our nation, the four ambassadors expressed their enthusiasm and will to strengthen the relations further to benefit the need of the people of countries.
President Ibrahim Solih spoke thanking their countries for participating in the “2019 Maldives partnership forum” held between 17 and 18 of this month at Kurumba Maldives resort. He also welcomed and congratulated all the four appointed ambassadors for their position and wished them good luck.
