Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has scheduled the agenda to determine the eligibility criteria of the judges in Supreme Court for tomorrow. Although JSC has not officially confirmed this news, a commission’s meeting is said to be scheduled for tomorrow morning.
69 parliament members voted for JSC to run an evaluation for a total of five Supreme Court judges.
According to the constitution, within the two years of the constitution entering into force, the Judicial Service Commission is required to run this evaluation to determine whether the judges fit the required criteria. However, it took ten years for the JSC to finally do so.
