The Indian Ocean-based hospitality brand Atmosphere Hotels and Resorts has revealed expansion plans to develop new resorts in the Maldives.
The resort chain has plans to develop three new resorts in the Maldives with two new resorts being developed in the neighboring Sri-Lanka as well – the first resort in the country for the company.
The names of the three resorts being developed are, ‘VARU by Atmosphere” to be opened in October of this year in Male’ Atoll along with ‘OBLU X” with 350 beds which is to be the largest of all Atmosphere properties, scheduled for a launch next year. A new OBLU resort is being developed in Baa Atoll with 220 rooms slated for a 2020 launch as well.
