Manta Air just landed its second seaplane on the 11th of this month. Two of their DHC-6 seaplanes were traveling to the Maldives almost together and landed on two separate days.
Manta Air, formed last year are growing rapidly on the aviation market of the Maldives. As a huge part of the Maldivian ecomnomy falls on to the hands of the Tourism industry, ferrying these tourists who visit consists of huge demand. Aviation experts state that if Manta Airline continues according to their plan and adds 8 more Twin Otter Seaplanes to their fleet, they will be holding pretty steady feet in the industry.
The new seaplanes of Manta Air consist of Garmin G950NXI technology which cuts down the maintenance cost immensely.
Manta Air also states that their seaplanes will be a comfort to their guests and it will be easier to travel to their desired destination. Manta Air currently travels to Baa Atoll as well as Dhaalu Atoll. It is very much believed that they will be traveling to more destinations with the expansion of their fleet.
