Fathimath Muna is awarded the prestigious Women at Work Leadership Award at The Address, Dubai Mall, Dubai, (UAE) at the Asian HR Leadership Awards.
Besides being a valuable member of the HR Maldives ‘ advisory board, she is an established HR specialist with 14 years of service and public service experience. She has spent primarily eight years working in the field of Human resources throughout her career path.
She is the only Maldivian to participate and receive an award at the Congress with awards from countries such as Oman Lebanon, Afghanistan, and India that have received awards from various categories.
Ms. Muna has filled out a variety of jobs to highlight her experience, versatility, and skill. She is currently the Maldives Media Council’s Director-General, Head of Human Resource and Finance Controller. Most prominently, she had previously worked as Assistant Director / Head of the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure Procurement Section and as Assistant HR Officer at the Ministry of Health.
She obtained an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Management and Marketing while digging at her educational background.
With 16 organizational award categories and 15 individual award categories, the award ceremony highlighted, recognized and rewarded the ability of HR professionals and business leaders to manage their business through turbulent times while applying the best of business modules to manage and keep their missions afloat.
