Recurrent expenditure of Maldives, as of 07 November has reached MVR16.46 billion.
According to Ministry of Finance, the figures came confirmed through their Weekly Fiscal Development – a weekly publication of state expenditure and revenues.
As per the statistics, capital expenditure has reached MVR5,360.2 million by the review week.
The government has spent MVR8,211.8 million on salaries, wages and pensions of public sector employees.
In addition, the administrative and operational expenses were observed at MVR7,212.6 million.
As per the recent statistics, state has spent MVR959.0 million on Aasandha – the state initiated health insurance scheme.
In the meantime, government has spent MVR,1065.0 million on subsidies by review week.
Coming to capital expenditure, heaviest portion of it was allocated on PSIP.
State has spent MVR3,023.6 million on Public Sector Investment Program (PSIP) so far in 2019.
Moreover, state has spent MVR1,338.2 million on development projects and investment outlays.
