Police identified the man who was found dead in the air shaft of a residential building in Male’s city on Saturday.
The Maldives Police Service said the man was identified and contact was made with the deceased’s family. The deceased was a 28-year-old local man, authorities believe.
The body is being examined to rule out foul play. The police are further investigating the case.
