Maldivian was revealed to have been confirmed for COVID-19 by a news agency in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
About new 50 affirmed virus cases in the country, including today’s Maldivian was publicized by the Khaleej Times whom quoted UAE’s Health and Prevention Ministry. This individual is the first known Maldivian national to be diagnosed positive to COVID-19.
The agency reported the latest virus cases belonging to the following nationalities which was later officialize by the government of UAE.
One person each from the UK, Saudi Arabia, Czech Republic, Yemen, Lebanon, Tunisia, Bulgaria South Africa, Maldives, Belgium, South Korea, France, Sri Lanka, Australia, Kenya, Sudan, Pakistan, Ireland, Morocco, Sweden, and Iran.
Furthermore, two each were found from UAE, Netherlands, Italy, Egypt, Jordan, Spain and the Philippines and three each from the US, Bangladesh, and Palestine, and there was a total of six from India.
They are all in sound condition and are getting the compulsory medical care.
The grand total of positive cases in UAE is 248 people. They also declared that 3 Pakistani and 1 Bangladeshi, recovered from the virus.
