Ooredoo Maldives has made a donation of 50 intubation boxes to National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
The donation handed over by the telecommunication giant’s Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Hussain Niyaz, was received by CEO of NDMA, Mr. Hisaan Hassan. Mr. Niyaz highlighted the importance of front line workers in the fight against the virus, and that the collective collaboration and corporation of everyone is necessary and is the responsibility of everyone to curb the virus.
Intubation boxes are utilized as a protective device shielding health workers as they connect patients to ventilators during the intubation process.
