Pres Solih to privilege Sri Lankan Independence day event

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will depart to Sri Lanka next month to join the event of the country’s Independence day celebrations.

The president will depart to Sri Lanka on third of February and arrive back on fifth. More details will be disclosed later on, said spokesperson of the President Office, Hood.

It was informed that president Solih is to be the honorary guest of the official ceremony on fourth of next month celebrating the Independence day on the invitation by His Excellency Maithripala Sirisena, the president of Sri Lanka.
