Induction Programme for Parliamentarians was carried out

An induction programme to aid members of the Parliament in fulfilling their duties was commenced out at Hotel Jen.

The 1-day programme was carried out by delegation of experts from the Westminster Foundation for Democracy. The foundation is a UK-based non-departmental public that aims to promote democratic institutions overseas. The delegation consisted of the Westminster Foundations Country Representative, the Senior Parliamentary Advisor and the Foundations Regional Director.

All members of the Parliament, including Parliament Speaker and former President Mohamed Nasheed took part in the programme.
