Ahmed Shiyau was appointed as the Permanent Secretary of the Attorney General’s Office.
During a special ceremony held on Monday at AG Office, Shifau was handed the letter of appointment by the President of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Dr Ali Shameem.
Shiyau finished his Masters in Business Administration and acted as a Director at both the Ministry of Defence and the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) till his appointment. He also held high ranking positions in several private companies and has experience in administration and human resources.
He was selected for this position based on recommendations given by respective ministers
