On Saturday 19th October, Foreign Secretary for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed departed to Baku, Azerbaijan.
The Foreign Secretary, according to the Foreign Ministry, traveled to represent the Maldives at the Non-Aligned Movement Ministerial Meeting (# NAM).
This is a preparatory meeting for the forthcoming XVIII Summit of Heads of State and Government, to be held from October 21 to 22.
This year, from 25 to 26 October, Azerbaijan will host the XXVIII Summit.
