Education ministry today stated that the stationery lists for next year will be provided alongside the report forms on the report giving day.
According to the state minister of the education ministry, the distribution of stationery lists for schools is now in progress and that all the schools in the capital city, Male’ will receive the lists before this week Tuesday.
He further stated that the aim of the government is to provide all the schools across the country with the lists before the end of the academic year.
As per the 2019 academic calendar, report giving day is disclosed to be held on the 21 of November and the 2020 academic year will begin on 12 of January 2020.
The government provides all the stationery necessary for government schools. However, there is a rising concern that some schools receive the books week after the start of the academic year.
Education ministry assures that they will resolve the issue by providing lists to all the schools before the end of the last semester of 2019.
