Maldives promotes tourism at World Travel Market 2019

World Travel Market 2019 commenced on Tuesday at London with Maldivian delegation promoting the island nation.

Maldives will promote the tourist destination through various stalls at the three-day fair set until 07 November 2019, Thursday.

The local delegation is led by Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) Mr Thoyyib Mohamed.

Promoting the island nation at WTM 2019, the delegation consists of 163 representatives from 63 local hospitality ventures.

The team will attract potential investors, experts and other stakeholders to discuss boosting Maldivian tourism.

Among the acts set by the Maldivian team, local musical act ‘Detune Band’ will be performing across the stalls during the event.

In addition to this, genuine Maldivian cuisine will be available for visitors to experience.

Following the wrap-up of WTM 2019, a total of 16 local hospitality companies will partake in the ‘Journey to the Sunny Side of Maldives’ roadshow.

The roadshow will run simultaneously at Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin from Thursday until Friday.
