The Island Lounge, by OCC opened on Sunday with a pre-opening DJ number at The Marina at Crossroads Maldives.
A brand from Ocean City Cigars (OCC), is the first ever lounge by the sheesha distributor to pop-up at the patchwork resort.
Island Lounge will consist of a bar, sheesha lounge, tobacco and entertainment events available in a single spot both indoors and outdoors.
The Chairman of OCC, Mohamed Mumthaz who spoke about the recreational spot said Island Lounge is specialized for skilled expatriates and foreigners.
As such, the Island Lounge will be a venue of regular events and special programs – on a weekly schedule.
Moreover, the recreational venue employees mostly locals in their staff roster.
OCC, the Island Lounge’s operator, is one of the strongest names in tobacco and sheesha distribution in the Maldives.
In addition to the said services, OCC is looking towards extending their business portfolio into the entertainment industry.
Thus, providing amicable platforms for local performers and acts to showcase their talents; via their Island Lounge.
