Former President Mohamed Nasheed has called upon larger governments to open their borders for smaller island nations.
Speaking at a Commonwealth Enterprises and Investment Council’s tourism webinar, the Mr. Nasheed, the incumbent Speaker of Maldivian Parliament made the statement calling for rich and large nations to assist small nations.
