Economic Minister Fayyaz Ismail has been appointed as interim head of the Tourism Ministry.
The spokesperson of the President’s Office Ibrahim Hood announced the development in a tweet.
The appointment comes after the incumbent Tourism Minister Ali Waheed was removed from office due to multiple counts of sexual harassment allegations came to light and was reported.
