When the idea of Europe came to be, it was a joyous day for millions and one that those that were not a part of the first group of European nations was eagerly looking forward to being a part of one day.
The main ideas behind the European Union was completely beautiful. A Utopia like region where every person within it would have equal rights, equal opportunity and all under one currency and economy.
What was not understood by those that pushed for the establishment of the EU, is that they also needed full independence from foreign influence in order for Europe to work.
From the beginning, the United States lobbyist, politicians and multinationals already started to influence European politicians, human rights and democracy NGOs, as well as news media.
European citizens were made to believe that this is something positive and beneficial for them, when in fact US would be the reason why Eurpean Union could never stand on its own feet.
The United States Congress, Senate and major news media are all one way or another financed by Pro-Israeli elite businessmen, lobbyist, PACs, and so on. It’s economy runs on the opportunity to supply weapons to war torn countries and when there is no war, they use their influence to push countries and regions to the brink of war.
In any business, when there is no demand for you are selling, you will make a loss. When you make a loss for more than a few months, you can feel the financial pain in your own pocket. Hence, if such a large part of the American economy is dependent on supplying military tanks, jets, helicopters, small arms and lethal combat weapons, then logically world peace is bad for the US economy.
Israel had given the United States arms manufacturers what they wished for in the Middle East through its covert influence and support for rogue dictators under their payroll. In return the United States made sure that they always had enough influence over European intelligence and politicians to support any war that the US initiates in public of covertly.’
Creation of various intelligence agreements and joint military forces like NATO were all a part of making sure that it is the US that actually controlled European Foreign policy, as well as domestic security policies.
Billions of euros were spent in every part of these initiatives to support US to support certain dictators that violated their own people’s human rights ever day, while going after dictators that wanted to be independent from any foreign influence.
With every support the European politicians gave to please the United States, the EU economy spent double or triple the cost to try and solve further complications caused by their disastrous decisions. All this went to blew up in their faces when the US promoted war playground in the Middle East exploded and refugees went flooding into Europe to seek security and safety.
Even before that, Amnesty International and others had accused the EU of having protected some of it’s nations that secretly sponsored US military torture black sites on European soil, that went against European Human Rights laws. It is these type of incidents that the ordinary people of Europe can step back and understand just how little European laws matter within Europe. There was a US law above EU laws, a US government that was above EU governments, a US Congress that was above the European Parliament.
With all this in place, just how did European leaders think that Europe would succeed? That beautiful idea of Europe could have been an example to the world and it still could be with drastic transparency needed in countering US and right wing extremist influence in European politics, legal system and media.
Today, President Donald Trump is the face of European failure. Their corrupt politicians, intelligence and media have got so used to depending on asking its big brother in Washington for every policy decision, that it had missed a big chance to be an independent Europe today. Every time Trump speaks, it is a slap on the European faces, every time Trump tweets, he just deepens the insults against those who clearly were fooled into thinking that US was their closest ally.
If Europe wants to be seen as independent, so that it can actually be respected in the world stage, it also needs to support the rights of Palestinians against occupation under international law. It needs to stop being so afraid of Israeli controlled US politicians and media that attacks anyone that supports the rights of Palestinians. Be honest and just tell the world the truth, that Palestinians are humans just as any other people and they must be recognized and their rights must be protected by the full extend of international law.
