28th July and 15th August Declared as a Government Holiday

28th July and 15th August have been declared as a government holiday by the President’s Office. 

President Office Spokesperson, Ibrahim Hood stated that President Solih has declared 28 July 2019 and 15 August 2019 as government holidays on the occasion of Independence Day and Eid al Alha respectively via tweet. 

While Independence Day is celebrated on 26th every year, 11th August is set to be Eid al Alha.
