According to statistics released by Finance Ministry, the government has received an income of MVR 11.5 billion whereas the expenditure was at MVR 11.5 billion.
This is only 30% of the forecasted expenditure allocated by the annual budget.
With the statistic being released the government looks to be on track with the annual budget for the current fiscal year with a single most expenditure of MVR 1.3 billion into Public Sector Development program.
