President Solih Thanks India for Their Assistance During the Pandemic

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has extended gratitude towards India for their continued assistance to the Maldives during pandemic.

In a press conference held at the President’s Office, the president made the remark responding to a question by a journalist.  “Due to COVID-19, the government of India has assisted the most. I earnestly thank the Indian government on behalf of the Maldivian government and the citizens of the country for that,” the president stated.

The president highlighted India’s assistance in all areas be it financial aid or the supply of medicine and reiterated his confidence and hope for further assistance in the future.
