Russian flag-carrier Aeroflot will recommence flight operations between Russia and Maldives starting on September 10.
The airline would conduct two flights per ween between Sheremetyevo Airport of Russia and Velana International Airport of the Maldives. Before the pandemic the airline operated one flight per day between the countries.
The announcement to recommence travel between the two countries was made by Russia the past week. The country continues to be one of the most important source market for the tourism industry of the Maldives.
