Japan has given assurance that they will help the newly formed government to fulfill their vision.
On a statement released by the foreign ministry, it has been said that Japan will be helping Maldivies both financially and economically.
Afterforeign minister’s visit to Japan in the purpose of strengthening bond between the two countries, they said that the deputy primary minster and finance minster has assured of maintaining a good relationship between two countries and helping to fulfil the pledge of president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, who was elected by defeating former president Yameen who was in the seat.
During the visit, foreign minister with the economic minister of Maldives expressed gratitude towards the assistance by the government of Japan and they highlighted that Japan has always helped this nation in progressing.
As one of the important pledge of the new government is to strengthen ties with the foreign nations. Foreign ministry previously had said that attempting to achieve this has been at its best and there will be more visits to countries in future
