According to Maldives Transport and Contract Company (MTCC), they have undertaken a total of 22 projects in the first quarter of 2019, and finished a total of 12 projects successfully.
The first quarter report of MTCC stated that they have received 6 new projects in the first quarter and started work on 3 new projects. The projects from the first quarter are worth MVR 400 million according to the CEO, Hassan Shah. He further explained how these projects are comparatively small for a company as large as MTCC hence they are in the lookout for potential projects to increase their revenue.
In the first quarter, MTCC has undertaken 6 land reclamation and dredging projects, including land reclamation for Maavaharu Lagoon, along with restoration for K. Thilafushi and Gdh. Fares-Maathodaa
