Flyme has stated that they are temporarily halting its flights to Addu City and Fuvahmulah.
According to Flyme, the decision to stop its flights to the southernmost atolls was to due to lack of human resource in the airline specially the lack of pilots. They further explained that they want to provide exceptional service to their customers and due their lack of crew they haven’t been able to provide that experience, with multiple customers lodging complaints.
The airline reported that they are training multiple pilots now and would start flying for the airline very soon. The company assured the public that operations would resume soon, with a higher and quality of service.
They will stop their flights to Addu City and Fuvahmulah from June 10th onwards.
Flyme is a domestic Airline based in Maldives operated by Villa Air which is part of the Villa Group of Companies. The airline provides scheduled flights to domestic airports, serving both the local as well as the international markets.
