Travel Trade Maldives (TTM), the largest travel platform in the Maldives has concluded their 2019 event with a gala celebration.
TTM is an event that connects the travel trade community of the Maldives to the global network of travel experts. In the TTM Awards ceremony, top producers in the Maldives Hospitality Industry were given awards for their services and dedication to the industry.
The event began on Tuesday with the TTM Travel Summit and ended this Thursday with the TTM Awards and the eventful Gala Night which took place at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi.
The Travel Summit on the first day of the event was a day-long summit at Bandos Maldives resort. The summit focused on travel technology and analytics which is an area that helped the travel industry to deliver outstanding customer services while maximizing profit through analytics, dynamic pricing and Artificial Intelligence.
With the participation of over 100 resorts and hotels, TTM continued on Wednesday and Thursday as well. More than 3000 meetings took place at the convention centre of Dharubaaruge between hoteliers and interested agents and more than 250 international buyers and media professionals attended the event including Adaaran Resorts, Kaimoo Hotels, Crown & Champa Resorts, Bandos Maldives and Villa Hotels & Resorts.
Organized by the Orca Media Group, TTM was first launched in 2017, with the objective of facilitating Maldives tourism industry to peak 2 million tourists per year with over USD 3.5 billion in receipts by the end of 2020.
