During a statement made on Saturday, President Solih urged all the citizens of the Maldives to extend the festive spirit of Eid al-Adha by celebrating inclusively, with all members of the community.
He expressed his warmest gratitude for the gift of Islam and extended his greeting to all Maldivians in Saudi Arabia performing the pilgrimage and to the Muslim ummah as a whole.
President Solih further added that everyone should uphold the virtues of justice and fairness emphasizing that all citizens must strive to present the same standards of equity and integrity to others as they hope to receive themselves to fully embrace the true spirit of this holiday.
