The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) signed a contract with the Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure to develop a water and sewerage system in Gaadhiffushi, Thaa Atoll.
According to the agreement a budget of MVR 21 million has been allocated for the project which involves the establishment of a Reverse Osmosis plant and a water storage tank.
While MTCC’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Shahid Hussain Moosa signed on behalf of the company, Director General Fathmath Shaana Faarooq signed on behalf of the ministry.
A two-year duration was given to complete the project.
