The managing director of the Maldive gas stated that the aim of their company is to lessen the amount of usage of steel cylinders and replace them with light cylinders (lui fulhi).
In an interview with “Mihaaru”, Shazaail stated that numerous customers switched from steel cylinders to light cylinders as soon as the light cylinders were introduced. He also stated that the light cylinders have made their job a lot easier as they can be easily carried from one place to another and most importantly there will be no issues due to rusting. These light cylinders are a product of the Maldive gas with numerous safety features compared to the “old” cylinders.
Moreover, Shazaal stated that they prioritize safety while distributing their gas cylinders to the customers. Hence, they have planned to introduce pipelines across the country.
