Over the last week, 763 vehicles have been fined for parking violations.
Police statistics indicate that parking tickets for infringement were given to 763 vehicles, and last week 48 vehicles were towed.
According to the statistics report released by MPS on Sunday, between October 19 and 25, 41 accidents took place in Malé city, and 11 people incurred accident injuries.
While 819 vehicles were inspected during the period, the action was taken against 20 people for reckless driving, 35 vehicles for expired roadworthiness, and 23 vehicles for unpaid annual fees.
