FlyMe operated by Villa Air has commenced international flight operations after receiving the Air Operation Certificate (AOC).
The airline received the certification on Thursday and operated the first international flight to the neighboring Sri Lanka. on Friday.
Abdulla Nashid, the Managing Director of Villa Air said that the airline have been preparing for international flights for a long time and were fully prepared, explaining how they were immediately able to commence operations once the airline received the AOC.
The airline would operate scheduled flights to Sri Lanka once the country’s borders are reopened.
