Faarufushi Resort which is located in Raa Atoll, Maldives, is sold to the infamous Italy-based Emerald collection.
The Faarufushi investment private limited company announced to sell the luxury resort property during the last December. Now the resort is being purchased by the Emerald company. However, the precise purchasing amount of this resort are unknown.
The resort is set to reopen on 1st of May 2022 under the Emerald company. According to the news reports, the 7 hector Faarufushi reopens with new changes; with 80 rooms categorized to six levels.
Currently, Emerald company operates another resort in Raa Atoll Fasemendhoo by the name Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa.
