Action to be taken against people in opposition of Islam critics

Action will be taken against people in opposition of people criticizing religious habits and rules, said Maldives Police Service.

In a statement by Police had said that action is to be taken against people who is in favor of attacking the ones diminishing and criticizing Islam with its pillars. Police had requested to report if warnings of attacking are received via social media or any other way.

Posts against Islam has been going viral in social media, especially in Twitter. People had said inappropriate things about mosques and necessities in Islam.
People involved in this include MDP’s activist Aishath Aania and Ibrahim Islmail (Ibra).
