The foreign ministry has stated that preparations are being made for the Partnership Forum to be held on the 17th and 18th of June.
The forum, Maldives Partnership Forum is carried out under this year’s banner, “Investing in resilience and the sustainable Maldives”.
President Solih will inaugurate the forum and his governments vision for a “Jazeera Raajje” will be discussed along with government’s development plan and agenda. In addition to these discussions with foreign companies and organization to allow for investments to flow in to the country and market the Maldives as an opportunity to invest with the goal of being more open to the world at a global economic level.
Discussions and planning will be done based on 5 key areas of development required by the government.
The current forum is the biggest of it’s kind held in the country with the most multifaceted discussion panels ever in the history of the forum. Different agreements and MOUs will be signed with current ongoing government projects and future projects as well.
Maldives Partnership Forum is co hosted by the Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid and Finance Minister Ibrahim Ameer with various other ministries and organizations taking part in the event.
