Former Vice-Chancellor of Maldives National University (MNU) Dr Ali Fawaz Shareef has been appointed the new Rector of Cyryx College on Monday.
Dr Fawaz did his PhD at Massey University in Information Systems and specializes in providing higher education in Information Technology Communication in smaller countries. He was appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of MNU in 2015, and served until his dismissal in 2019, due to certain amendments made to the university’s regulations.
