Farukolhufushi to be Converted Into a Tourism School

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has revealed plans to turn Farukolhufushi Resort into a training school for tourism.

Managing Director of HDC Suhail Ahmed in a press conference held today said that the plan is something that the government has a keen interest in executing, and that it would increase employment opportunities within the industry.

“We are now working to establish a tourism training school. The government has an interest in doing so. It is something that we are prioritizing.” said Suhail further noting that the project would be announced within two months.
