ADK Hospital inaugurated the third iteration of the Brain and Spine Conference.
Conference held at Paradise Island Resort was attended by Minister of Communication, Science and Technology Maleeh Jamaal and Minister of Health Abdulla Ameen and other high ranking officials from both ministries. In addition to this doctors and nurses from across the world including renowned neurosurgeons from America and Australia are said to share their expertise on the platform.
The conference led by ADK’s neurosurgery team aims towards increasing knowledge among medical professionals treating cranial, spinal and peripheral nerve disorders by providing a platform to facilitate the sharing of research, recent innovations, information on advanced treatments and experiences of pioneers in the field.
During the conference, Minister Maleeh Jamal introduced first-ever science journal f the Maldives while the Senior Neurosurgeon at ADK Hospital Dr Ali Niyaf also introduced ADK’s new medical application targeting neurosurgery.
According to ADK ho Dr Ali Niyaf, the two papers were compiled following thorough research and included new findings.
