A special event to kick start and celebrate the re-opening of tourism is to be conducted by Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation (MMPRC).
The virtual event to be held via Facebook Live on June 8, titled “Maldives – The Sun Will Shine Again”, will take viewers through a journey to rediscover the beautiful islands of the Maldives, as the tourism industry heads towards recover, states MMPRC.
The country’s border being closed since March 27th, the Tourism Ministry has recently unveiled plans to kick start the country’s highest contributing industry for the economy.
