The Maldivian parliament has approved the appointment four ambassadors to for different countries.
The representatives were approved for the diplomatic missions in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and the UAE.
The floor approved the appointment of Shiruzimath Sameer to the mission in Bangladesh with 68 votes, Aminath Shabeena as the ambassador to UAE with 70 votes, Dr. Hussain Niyaz as the ambassador to India and as the non-resident Ambassador to Afghanistan, Bhutan, and Nepal with 70 votes, and Faruzaana Zahir as the ambassador to Pakistan with 70 votes.
