Due to the recent threats the Maldives and the neighbouring countries faced, America’s ambassador to the Maldives, Alaina B. Teplitz assures Defence minister Mariya Ahmed Did that America will be behind the Maldives in assistance with security coordination.
In the meeting held at MNDF, Cheif of Defence Force, Major General Abdullah Shamaal and other highly ranked officers joined as well.
Teplitz further explains how she has taken notice of the high-security measures the MNDF is currently taking and guarantee their assistance in every possible manner.
