STO Announce Changes to its Board of Directors

Changes have been brought to the Board of Directors of the state owned company, STO plc.

The government has appointed 6 members to the board of STO while the public shareholders have elected 1 member to the board.

The changes were brought to effect after the Annual General Meeting of STO plc held last Thursday.

The Board of STO now consists of;

1. Mr. Hamid Nasheed Mohamed, Chairman (Government Representative)
2. Mr. Husen Amru Mohamed Rashad, Managing Director (Government Representative)
3. Mr. Mohamed Mihad, Executive Director (Government Representative)
4. Mr. Shimad Ibrahim,Director (Government Representative)
5. Mr.Ismail Zumayl Rasheed, Director (Government Representative)
6. Mr. Gais Ismail, Director (Government Representative)
7. Ms. Aminath Rushma, Director (Representing Public shareholders)
